Save CO2, money & gas: go by train or bus to the C-R-S!

The entrance ticket (regardless whether it is a 3 Days Ticket or a Single Day Ticket, Hard- or E-ticket) is valid as a one time roundtrip ticket in almost entire south of Germany, including Bavaria, Baden-​Württemberg, Hessen, Thuringia, and Saxony, from the 13th to the 17th of August 2009:

• all local trains operated by the Deutsche Bahn in the above mentioned states
• in the S-trains of cities Munich and Nuremberg
• in the regional networks of RVO and RVA (not including MVV)
• in the special trains between Munich and Übersee
• in all local shuttle buses

And in Austria on the routes Salzburg to Übersee and Kufstein to Übersee.

If you are living in the north, simply start traveling with the train towards southern Germany. As soon as you reach one of these states, your festival entrance ticket qualifies as a train ticket! Here, you can search for free of charge train connections.

Special Trains: There will be a multitude of special trains running from Thursday to Monday on the route München-​Übersee-​München.

Luggage: You are only permitted to bring along luggage that either fits underneath your seat or in the luggage rack above you. Please be aware that if you cannot limit yourself to this amount that you will be refused travel.

Shuttle Bus: During the festival shuttle buses will be traveling back and forth between the Übersee train station and the festival grounds, starting at 10:00 am Thursday running until approximately 12:00 pm Monday. There are many different stops along this route, which have diverse businesses close by. There will be plenty of buses traveling around the clock. There is no schedule available for these buses.

Beach Bus: Additionally, a bus travels to beach swimming area Feldwies. Here you can go swimming in the Chiemsee. Showers and other sanitary facilities are also available. The departure point is the Übersee train station. You can simply take the shuttle bus from the festival grounds to the train station and there change to the beach bus. This bus runs daily from Thursday to Monday between 10:00 am and 19:00 pm.

Bus schedule: Bus connections to and from Übersee as well as the region are available from our partner RVO.

On foot: To walk from the train station to the grounds you will need about 15 minutes, it is approximately 2 kilometers.

Important Information: The entrance ticket is valid as a Travel ticket for trains & buses, even when it is not expressly stated on the ticket, for example by some E-tickets. Please remember to keep your entrance ticket at the end of the festival for your return trip!

Bicycle: Bringing along a bicycle is not included in your train ticket. You must pay extra for this service.
